AKB48’s Team 8 Takes a Dark Turn in the MV for “Kegareteiru Shinjitsu”!

AKB48 has released the MV for “Kegareteiru Shinjitsu” by Team 8 Senbatsu from the Type-C version of “Bokutachi wa Tatakawanai” (release date: May 20).
With its dark visuals and rooftop scenes, the MV for “Kegareteiru Shinjitsu” feels like a throwback to AKB48’s “Keibetsu Shiteita Aijou” or SKE48’s “Kataomoi Finally”. It is a definite departure for Team 8 to be taking on a song with a darker mood that shows their maturation as performers. However, with a title that translates to “corrupted reality”, it would have been extremely strange if it had been a bright happy song/video. Perhaps 2015 will be the year where a Team 8 member makes their mark on the Senbatsu Sousenkyo?
Check out the MVs for the other coupling songs here and “Bokutachi wa Tatakawanai” here.
“Bokutachi wa Tatakawanai” will be sold in 4 limited edition versions and 4 regular versions. All 8 versions include DVDs which have the MVs for the 3 songs on each of the different CDs and a code which you can use to vote for your favorite member in the 2015 AKB48 Senbatsu Sousenkyo which will determine who will appear on the songs for the 41st single. The limited edition versions come with an event ticket and the regular versions come with a randomly selected “nama shashin” (bromide).
