Ai Shinozaki Dances (and Sings) With Herself in the MV for “A-G-A-I-N”

Ai Shinozaki has let the full-length MV for her solo debut single “A-G-A-I-N” (release date: April 29) out of the box!

Filmed on the same set of the previously released lyric video for the song, Shinozaki shows off two sides to herself as shown by the two versions of her with different hairstyles. While the hotly discussed blue lollipop can be seen, there is minimal focus on how it colors Shinozaki’s tongue.

Midway though the song, the double with the flipped hairstyle joins in as the two Ai Shinozakis sing together. With a color palette full of pastels and metallics and English subtitled lyrics in the style of many Up-Front groups, “A-G-A-I-N” feels like it is aiming to be very fashionable and attract audiences beyond the borders of Japan.

“A-G-A-I-N” will be released in limited and regular versions. The limited edition version comes with an oversized 7-inch (177.8 mm) package which is the same size that vinyl record singles used to be released on. A digital download version was available starting from April 15th.
