TOKYO GIRLS’ STYLE Reveals MV for “Himawari to Hoshikuzu -English Version-“!

Jet-setting girls dance and vocal unit Tokyo Girls’ Style has revealed the MV for the English version of “Himawari to Hoshikuzu” which will be on their upcoming double A-side single “Say long goodbye/Himawari to Hoshikuzu -English version” (release date: December 10).

The music video features their first journey to US and performance at San Francisco’s J-Pop Summit in August of 2014. Footage from the event is mixed in with scenes of the members of Tokyo Girls’ Style taking in many of the famous sights of “The City by the Bay”. Because the song was re-recorded in English, you can hear how their singing ability has matured since the original Japanese version was released in 2010. Compared to the original video, set in a dark studio and with the members wearing black outfits, the new version is bright and colorful, just like a field of sunflowers. A music video for “Say long goodbye” has not yet been released but, you can watch their first live performance of it from the 4th “HARDBOILED NIGHT” at Akasaka Blitz on October 13th.
