Tokyo Girls’ Style Holds Live in Taiwan, Feels Good Response for Expansion into Asia

Five girls dance & vocal group Tokyo Girls’ Style appeared on KAWAII POP FES by @JAM in Taiwan on January 18, held a live at the RIVER SIDE LIVE HOUSE.

Although they have released three albums as local Edition in Taiwan, they visited Taiwan for the first time. The performance in Taiwan was a long-awaited stage not only for local fans, but also for Tokyo Girls’ Style.

The live started with “Rock you!” Including fans all the way from Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand, they filled the floor far behind the stage. Their signature tracks such as “Kodou no Himitsu”, “Limited addiction”, and “Liar” were shown off immediately after TGS’ greetings in simple Chinese. When Tokyo Girls’ Style enhanced the mood of the fans like that, the new song to be released on February 12, “Partition Love” was dropped. The sensational lyrics and choreography made an impact on the fans there. In the big wave of applause, the production of the Chinese version of “Partition Love” was announced from the members.

Two days before this live, TGS members were facing the recording of the new song in Chinese version with local stuff in the recording studio of Taiwan.

“It was so so difficult to sing it in Chinese, but we’d be so happy if you listened to it!” In response to the MC, the expectant voices such as “Come to Hong Kong too!” exploded from fans of Asian countries.

During their days in Taiwan, They spent fulfilling both on and off time such as promotional activities, a shooting in the tourist spots, and enjoying the Chinese tea. Since they left USTREAM archives, check if you want to see them enjoyed!!
