The legendary and ageless Namie Amuro continues her reign with the unveiling of the MV for her new single “Mint” (release date: May 18)!
“Mint” is the theme song for the Fuji/Kansai TV drama “Boku no Yabai Tsuma” and features a personal record 36 backup dancers on screen behind Amuro! With hard-hitting beats and some slithery guitar lines complimenting Amuro’s voice, it sounds like the perfect song for a drama about a husband whose plans to murder his manipulative wife go sideways when she mysteriously disappears without a trace.

“Mint” will be released in a CD/DVD version and a regular CD version, The DVD includes the full-length MV for “Mint” and the coupling song for both versions is titled “Chit Chat”. Following up on the success of her Namie Amuro Livegenic 2015-2016 tour, she will be embarking on her biggest music hall tour to date, namie amuro LIVE STYLE 2016-2017! Beginning on August 19, 2016 at Yokosuka Arts Theatre, it will include 88 performances in 33 cites across Japan, including 14 at Tokyo International Forum.
