Hitomi Arai from TOKYO GIRLS’ STYLE and Yuumi Shida from Yumemiru Adolescence are joining forces as Shida Summer Arai Summer, a special summer-themed unit to heat things up this year with their single “Shakunetsu Summer〜SUMMER KING × SUMMER QUEEN〜” (release date: July 6)!
Arai and Shida attracted a lot of attention during Yumemiru Adolescence’s two-man live with TOKYO GIRLS’ STYLE at Shimokita Garden on March 29, 2016 when they performed a duet of “Anna ni Suki Datta Summer” (あんなに好きだったサマー) together. While specific details of the single are still being finalized, could it be one of the coupling songs?
“Shakunetsu Summer〜SUMMER KING × SUMMER QUEEN〜” will be released in a CD/DVD version and a regular CD version. Hitomi Arai’s new SHOWROOM program “Hitomi no Omotenashi” begins broadcasting on May 10, 2016 at 9:00pm (JST) too! Make sure to keep your eyes on Shida Summer Arai Summer as things begin to heat up!
