On January 15th, it was suddenly announced that Momoka Ariyasu is going to graduate from Momoiro Clover Z after the concert will be held on January 21st in Shiga prefecture.

Ariyasu left a handwritten message on her blog and the group’s official website today, and announced “I’m sorry for the short notice, but I, Momoka Ariyasu, is going to graduate from Momoiro Clover Z after the concert will be held on January 21st, 2018.”

Regarding to the reason why, she also explained “I began to think about keeping distance from the entertainment industry where I’ve been for twenty two years since I started my career as a child actor and my feeling that I want to be a ordinal girl has become stronger. “

She also left her gratitude : “No matter how much I say thank you, my gratitude cannot be expressed adequately. I think everyone has a lot to say about my selfishness this time, but I am happy just to have one person say they are glad to work together with me these eight years. Thank you so much for these eight years.”

Her plans beyond this have not been decided yet.
Last year in March, she graduated from Nihon University, Art And Photography in four years, juggling both her performance activities and studies. In October of the same year, she released her first solo album, “Voice of The Heart” and had a solo public performance at the Budokan.

We would definitely miss her.
