Dempagumi.inc held their one-man live “Cosmo Tour 2018 Okinawa Special” at Sakurazaka Central in Okinawa on October 13, 2018. There, Nemu Yumemi announced that she would graduate from the group on January 7, 2019 at Nippon Budokan. She further revealed that she will also retire from the entertainment industry by the end of March 2019.
After retiring, she plans to work towards opening a bookstore and producing her original cahracter “Tanukyun”.
On November 21, Yumemi will release her first solo album “Yumemi Jidai”, before Dempagumi.inc releases their new album “Wareware wa Dempagumi.inc da” on January 1, 2019.

To all my supporters—
After 10 years of performing in the entertainment industry I, Nemu Yumemi, will graduate from Dempagumi.inc and retire.
It took me a long time to come to this decision, and I apologize for such a sudden announcement.
I will graduate on January 7 2019 at the Budokan performance, and retire from the industry at the end of March.
Following retirement, I want to devote my activities to producing my character Tanukyun and opening a bookstore.
Thank you so much for all your cheers and support this whole time. The fact that I, who believed I wasn’t suited to being an idol, was able to continue this far for 10 years, is all due to everyone’s support.
I was able to fulfil many dreams and see many beautiful sceneries with everyone. I will never forget those.
I’ll treasure each and every day and do my best until the very end of my time as an idol, so please give me your support!
