Mariko Nakamura to Graduate from AKB48 in March, Become TV Announcer in April!

Mariko Nakamura, co-captain of AKB48 Team A announced her graduation on March 15, 2017.
She will leave the group at the end of March and begin the next chapter in her life as a television announcer for Hyogo prefecture’s Sun Television in April on a 1-year contract that may be renewed up to 2 times. With ambitions to be a newscaster in order to show that she is more than just an idol, Nakamura expressed her wishes to become a personality beloved by the people of the region.
On March 16th, Nakamura tweeted a picture of her at her university graduation ceremony accompanied by a message of excitement for her future.
