The stage adaptation of the popular AKB48 schoolgirl delinquent (yankii) drama series Majisuka Gakuen is leaping out of the small screen and hitting the stage in a limited run at AiiA Theater in Tokyo from May 14-19! Starring Rena Matsui as “Gekikara” and Yui Yokoyama as “Otabe”, the play titled “Majisuka Gakuen ~Kyoto Keppu Shuugaku Ryokou” (Field Trip of Bloodshed?) will have them traveling to Kyoto and battling an enemy from Otabe’s past.

With many of the supporting cast having appeared in the “AKB49 ~ Ren’ai Kinshi Jourei~” musical and Yuka Tano as one of the Dorothys in the most recent production of the Wiz, this new adaptation of Majisuka Gakuen should not be missed! It will run from May 14th until May 19th with two performances each day starting at 1:00pm and 6:00pm, so if you think you will be okay waiting, be prepared to be angry (okotteiru) when they end up selling out!
