KOBerrieS Reveals Emo MV for “Omoide Yell” Featuring their Home Town, KOBE!

KOBerrieS♪, an local idol group whose activity base is in Kobe, Hyogo prefecture, will be releasing their new single “Omoide Yell” on January 14th.
The song was produced by Satoshi Yamamoto, a guitarist of the punk & rock band GAGAGA SP who was also born in Kobe as the members of KOBerrieS♪.
On January 17th, it will be twenty years has passed since Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake Disaster took place. Yamamoto written this song to encourage Kobe again.

All of the scenes in the music video was filmed in a town of Kobe. A captain of the group Mei commented “We filmed the video clip on the mountainside and the seaside of KOBE, in addition to that, we also filmed it in a shopping street of Shin-Nagata that took on a lot of damage from the past earthquake.
We hope you will come to Kobe to see the locations featured in our music video.”

Ah, what sentimental scenes these are for people who was born in Kobe… Actually, it’s me.

In addition to the song, a cover version of “Sotsugyou (Graduation)”, a popular song of GAGAGA SP, will be included in its coupling track.
