E-girls Tell All, Revealing Everything About the New Years Day 2015 Release of Album “E.G. TIME”

The Girls Entertainment Project, E-girls, who hit their big break in 2014 with their colorful, pop image, and was just selected a few days ago to complete for their second consecutive year in NHK’s Kohaku Uta Gassen, boasting an explosive popularity with the younger generation population, has revealed the visuals and content included with the release their long-awaited third album, E.G. TIME.

The illustrated CD jacket picture for the release is a first for E-girls, showing a single girl wearing a varsity jacket with an emblem of the E-girls group name embroidered on the back. This vivid color scheme brings to mind the illustration of a cheerleader, and fits well with the energetic and colorful E-girls image.

About the content everyone’s curious about, it contains a self introduction-like song, which was the first of their consecutive three month single releases, called “EGAnthem? WE ARE VENUS-“, followed by the opening theme to the hit anime Chibi Maruko-chan, “Odoru Ponpokorin”, the GTO drama theme song which caused quite a stir, “Highschool? love”, and various coupling songs, including their hot, new song, “Mr. Snowman”, with a catchy refrain that is sure to get stuck in your head, and the feature song in a number of commercials. Additionally the album features four new quintessential girls songs, such as “Gomen Nasai no Kissing You” and the album version of the song “Follow Me”, for a really phenomenal release.

Furthermore, the album’s special package includes a generous helping of concert footage from their first national tour, which swept fans into a whirl of enthusiasm, E-girls LIVE TOUR 2015 “COLORFUL LAND”. The first press version includes extras like a gorgeous 80 page concert-themed photo book, and is a must-buy for those who want to know everything they can about the girls.

The album’s title, E.G. Time, represents the “time” spent with those who know the girls and those that don’t know the girls, and is filled with the girls’ desires to get listeners excited.
