At the concert at Koshigaya on May 28, Chisato Okai from ℃-ute has announced that she will get a surgery and be under treatment for vocal cord nodule after her birthday fan club event on June 22.

During the MC, she mentioned how she noticed her voice becoming hoarse recently, and went to the doctor and was diagnosed as vocal cord nodule. After consulting with the doctor and staff, she decided to take a break until the tour final at Nippon Budoukan.

She mentioned to the fans, “I will have to rest my vocal cord for a while, but will do my best to come back as soon as possible, so please wait for me!”

Since Chisato is known as one of the talkative members, Saki Nakajima commented, “We’re all worried if she can withstand talking. We’ll make sure not to make her talk”. The members all warned her, “don’t talk okay!?”.

The date of resuming her activities is undecided yet, and it will be announced after her surgery. We just hope that she will get better soon.
