The lovely Music Video for Ayami Muto’s new song “Parallel World” has been unveiled on her YouTube channel.
The song is the lead track of her new album “I-POP” will be released on February 25th.
The Music Video is inspired by the well known fairy tale of Little Red Riding Hood featuring Ayami wandering in the dark world with red blocks. The countless red blocks are forming shapes freely, and leading her way moment by moment. Ayami will walk and also fly on. To film 4:50 in a single take, timing is essential, not just for the main person, but also for the support that carries 30 dancers, cameras and lighting, and wire action crew. If the timing is off, the filming will not be successful. This is a strict environment.
Filming with only analogue methods and without the use of CG and other digital techniques, this fantastical video has Muto walking freely in midair, flying through the air, and is tied together with pop music into a terrific piece.
Certainly, it is the result of the study of how to implement ideas and great creativity.
For your information, there are two memorial events planned for the album release.
On 7 March (Sat), on the day of high school graduation, she is marking this new chapter by holding “Mouhitotsu no Sotsugyoushiki” with fans.
And she announced that on 29 April (Wed, a holiday), the day before her birthday live, she will also hold a “Night Before My 19th Birthday Party” at Shibuya eggman.
To fans who have supported her, these two special days of high school graduation and turning 19 marking a new chapter in her life will be incredibly important.
