“Fantastic Parade”, Yumemiru Adolescence ‘s 4th single, has been named the theme song for the first horror movie of summer 2016, “Toire no Hanako-san Shin-sho~Hanako vs Yosuke~”! It is also Yuumi Shida‘s first lead role in a film. She joins a cast that also features Aita Ota (HKT48), Rurika Yokoyama (ex-Idoling!!!), and Jun-ji (SIAM SHADE). Shida plays a self-taught spiritualist who awakens an evil spirit on a dare at an abandoned school. Toire no Hanako-san is a famous urban legend of a young girl in a red dress with a bobbed haircut appearing to those who call out to her in the third stall of the girl’s bathroom at a school.
While it may seem odd for a horror movie about a bloodthirsty ghost to have such the upbeat “Fantastic Parade” with its music and lyrics by Yoshikatsu Shuto (KEYTALK) and was arranged by Ryo Eguchi as it’s theme song, stranger things have happened before, right?
