A Happy Christmas Present! TRUSTRICK Reveal New MV for “beloved”

TRUSTRICK, a unit consisting Sayaka Kanda and Billy, has revealed the MV for their upcoming single “beloved” (release date: January 27, 2016).

“beloved” was first performed at their one man live “TRUSTRICK LIVE PROUD 2015 ‘Good Bye Stray Sheep’” at Zepp DiverCity (Tokyo) on December 18th, and is the lead track of the 2nd E.P “beloved E.P.” that is scheduled to be released on January 27th. It has also been announced that the song will be the opening theme of the T.V. program “Buzz Rhythm” by Nihon Television.

As “beloved” became one of the magnificent ballad songs of TRUSTRICK, the members have commented that it is a piece that made them return to their roots. It was the first time to make the MV in collaboration with the director Takashi Tadokoro. The collaboration became realized through the member’s ambition to work with him, after being fascinated by his profound and solemn colorful world.

The story of the music video is based on the plot that Kanda wrote, and starts from a situation where a female astronomer (Kanda) called “weather maker” who lives above the clouds falls in love with a young man on Earth. While she longed to be together with him, even her persistence has not been recognized by him, and one day sees him fighting with his girlfriend from the sky. And the action that the weather maker makes to cheer him up is…

The subtle and profound video that depicts tragic love has definitely become the masterpiece of TRUSTRICK’s music video. In the music video, an actor Rei Fujita, who previously starred with Kanda in the musical “Anne of Green Gables”, acts as her romantic interest. Kanda herself also acts in the MV, which has also been a while since her appearance in the MV for “ATLAS” from her 1st album. She shows a great performance and the director also comments that she has an outstanding presence. In addition, it was the first time for TRUSTRICK to make an entire MV with computer graphics. You can see how it was made in the DVD included in the Type-A version that will be released on January 27.

TRUSTRICK has also announced to hold a national release event tour “TRUSTRICK beloved TRUSTRIP”, and will continue to act vigorously. Can’t take off our eyes of TRUSTRICK in 2016 too!
