Nogizaka46’s New Sister Group “Toriizaka46” to Be Born

It is announced that new idol group “Toriizaka46” (鳥居坂46) will be born and they’ll hold audition to recruit new members. The application period for the audition is from June 28th until August 21st 2015, the day that Nogizaka46 was formed.

As you can recognize, Toriizaka46 is sister group of Nogizaka46. AKB48 group and Nogizaka46 producer Yasushi Akimoto will be the producer of Toriizaka46.

Toriizaka46 was named after sloping road Toriizaka nearby Zepp Blue Theater where Nogizaka46 under members held their activities.

You can apply for the audition on internet (but all in Japanese), so if you are interested in this, why not doing it! You need to be over 12 years old and less than 20 years old (as of July 10th, 2015). Let’s stay tuned for this new group’s activity!
