Silent Siren have revealed MVs for “Routine” and “Joshikou Sensou” from their self-titled 3rd album (release date: February 25)!
The MV for “Routine”, like the one for “Yumeoi”, features the illustrations of Rei Kato, which transport the listener visually into the world created by the lyrics of Sumire “Suu” Yoshida.
“Joshikou Sensou” stars Sayaka Tomaru (FYT), who shows that she was a Funky Yankee Schoolgirl long before she became a Funky Yankee Teacher as she faces off against Nanaka Kobayashi for the affections of a male teacher. The two confront each other after school, their auras sending the other students scrambling for safety behind the desks that have been piled up to create a makeshift battle arena.
Silent Siren’s third album “Silent Siren” went on sale February 25th and the DVD and Blu-ray of their first Budokan concert went on sale April 22, right before they began their 2015 spring-summer tour “Silent Siren Live Tour 2015 Spring Summer ~Siren VS Silent~” on April 24th. Silent Siren also released 2 singles this summer “Happy Marry” (release date: June 10) and “Hachi-gatsu no Yoru” (release date: July 29) and will be holding their Saisai Fes at Shin-Kiba Studio Coast on August 26th with 9nine, Passepied, Rina Katahira, phatmans after school, and Sanomaru. They will also be returning to perform in Jakarta, Indonesia for a one-man live on September 19th!
Last but not least, Silent Siren will be the guest for our NHK World TV show for the month of September! It will be airing on Friday September 18th! Check with your local NHK World provider for times or watch online!
