Silent Siren Look Back in Appreciation With the Sentimental MV for “AKANE”

Silent Siren deliver an early Father’s Day message of thanks in the MV for “AKANE” from their double A-side 13th single “AKANE/Awa Awa” (release date: May 24)!
“AKANE” is the ending theme song for the drama Final Fantasy XIV: Hikari no Otōsan, which was based on a series of blog posts by a gamer who wrote about his father playing the game with him. Ren Ōsugi, the actor that plays the father in the drama, appears as a single father who raises Silent Siren’s Sumire Yoshida. While things get tense between them during the teen years, the ending is quite touching.
“AKANE/Awa Awa” will be released in 2 limited editions and a regular version. Limited edition Type-A includes a DVD with the MV and making of video for “AKANE”. Limited edition Type-B includes a DVD with the MV for “Sepia”. “Awa Awa” is the ending theme song for the educational show Suiensā. The bonus track for all versions is titled “Kaleidoscope”.
