Shida Summer Arai Summer, the special summer-themed unit of Hitomi Arai from TOKYO GIRLS’ STYLE and Yuumi Shida from Yumemiru Adolescence find out who’s the cutest in the MV for their single “Shakunetsu Summer〜SUMMER KING × SUMMER QUEEN〜” (release date: July 6)!
Opening with the question “Out of Shida Summer or Arai Summer, the cutest is Shida Summer. Yes or No?” Images of the two running towards a breakaway wall in the style of Most Extreme Elimination Challenge (originally known in Japan as Takeshi’s Castle) alternate with some scenes of Hitomi Arai and Yuumi Shida playing around on sandy beaches surrounded by greenery. If you want to see the result, you’ll have to watch all the way until the end!
“Shakunetsu Summer〜SUMMER KING × SUMMER QUEEN〜” will be released in a CD/DVD version and a regular CD version. The DVD includes the MV and the making of movie on it. The coupling song for both version is titled “Konya wa Gozen Summer”.
