Seiko Oomori & Miss iD Get Wild on Opposite Ends of the World in the MV for “Imitation Girl”

Seiko Oomori unveiled the MV for “Imitation Girl“, a song which will be on her first major album “Sennou“(release date: December 3rd).

Seven Miss iD members (Tina Tamashiro, Jun Aonami, Rie Kaneko, Shizu Mizuno, Rachael, Saku Mayama, and Uchu Amagawa; Miss iD are the winners of an audition looking to find unique girls and produce them as idols) appear in the video and sing along during the chorus. The song is quite up-beat with Seiko Oomori’s catchy melody and sharp lyrics which express feelings that many girls should be able to identify with. Images of Oomori running wild in New York are juxtaposed against those of the seven young girls painting each other in a tiny Japanese apartment (Seiko Oomori’s room!) following how the music switches between light harp-like synth flourishes and wobbling bass lines.
