Rino Sashihara Marries Comedian in AKB48’s Star-Studded MV for “Shiawase wo Wakenasai”!

Wedding bells ring for Rino Sashihara in the MV for “Shiawase wo Wakenasai” from AKB48‘s double A-side 45th single, “LOVE TRIP/Shiawase wo Wakenasai” (release date: August 31)!

Rino Sashihara walks down the aisle in an extravagant wedding to Takashi Yoshimura from the Japanese comedy duo Heisei Nobushi Kobushi. Full of not just the other members who were elected through AKB48’s 8th Senbatsu Sousenkyo, there are a lot of Japanese comedians appearing as guests, and even MC Kazuo Tokumitsu shows up! Hopefully, he is not seated next to Haruka Shimazaki or Yuki Kashiwagi. Just like with “LOVE TRIP”, emphasis is placed on the top 5 members, moving away from the concept of “Kami 7”.

“Shiawase wo Wakenasai” is the latest commercial song for Zexy, a big company that works to get young Japanese people married as soon as possible (because if you aren’t married by the time you are 30 in Japan, you are considered a failure, especially if you are a woman). It ties in perfectly with “LOVE TRIP” and its “Let’s Confess, Japan” project, since there is no wedding unless you confess, right? And of course, if you’re getting married, why not have one just like the one in the MV?

“LOVE TRIP/Shiawase wo Wakenasai” will be released in 5 limited editions and 5 regular versions. The third track available on all versions is titled “Hikari to Kage no Hibi” and is the ABC Asahi theme song for the Koushien summer high school baseball tournament. Here is the distribution of the other songs for the single: “Densetsu no Sakana” by Undergirls (Type-A), “Shinka Shitenee Jan” by Next Girls (Type-B), “Kishi ga Mieru Umi Kara” by Future Girls (Type-C), “2016-nen no Invitation” by Upcoming Girls (Type-D), and “Hikari no Naka he” by Baito AKB Paruru Selection (Type-E). As always, the limited edition copies include an event participation ticket and the regular versions include a randomly selected nama shashin (bromide). Each of the DVDs for each version include the MVs for the songs on the CDs and Type-E has a 30-minute long version MV for “Shiawase wo Wakenasai”
