After being released on to YouTube, footage of the massively popular solo idol artist Saki Utagawa performing her song “Lovely Summertime” at the Maihama Amphitheater has become a hot topic.
However, this live concert footage was shot as scenes for the film “Hibi Rock”, scheduled to be released on November 22.
Starring as the top idol Saki Utagawa in the film “Hibi Rock” is the actress Fumi Nikaido.
Having booked the Maihama Amphitheater, the site of many idol concerts, live concert scenes were filmed with 6 separate cameras, as laser light shows and excited fans holding psyllium glow sticks added to the effect of a realistic idol concert, where Fumi Nikaido transformed herself into the role Saki Utagawa, nailing her performance as an idol.
