Nogizaka46’s Rina Ikoma Makes Debut as a Member of AKB48 Team B!

Nogizaka46‘s Rina Ikoma made her debut as a member of AKB48 Team B during “Heart Ereki National Handshake Event” held at Seibu Dome on April 12.

After the performance, Ikoma shared her thought saying, “I think there are lots of things that I still don’t know because this is my first time, but I will do my best to make AKB48, as well as Nogizaka46, for the better. So please support me.″

The New Team B is comprised of 23 members which Asuka Kuramochi as the team captain and Shizuka Oya as the vice-captain. It was Ikoma’s first day in AKB48 and she sang “Shonichi (= The first day)” along with other Team B members.
Ikoma is concurrently the AKB48 Team B member as “exchange student” from Nogizaka46 after the announcement at “AKB48 Dai Sokaku Matsuri (Big Shuffle)” held earlier this year. Additionally, she will participate for AKB48 6th General Election which will be held at Ajinomoto Stadium on June 7.
