3,000 Fans Competing For Nagoya Bus Tour With Rena Matsui! Don’t Miss The Last Moments Before Her Graduation!

One of the earliest members of the SKE48 and a member who achieved her popularity through her hard effort to succeed also in AKB48 and Nogizaka46, the surprising news of Rena Matsui’s graduation has shocked many of the idol fans. To spend every last minute before her graduation, one of the event, “Competition for Memory With Matsui Rena – Crossing Nagoya Ultra Quiz – (Matsui Rena To Omoide Soudatsu Nagoya Oudan Urutora Kuizu)” was held on August 15 (Sat), 2015 in Nagoya Port Messe. At the event, 3,000 fans have participated to compete for the ultimate prize to go on a Nagoya tour with Rena Matsui. Rena Matsui appeared at the event wearing yellow yukata, surprising a nice look for a summer.
The contest started out with the “Yes or No” questions, including simple to difficult questions which challenged every participants. As a surprise guest, Kanon Kimoto and Rena Isshiki also appeared for a surprise visit on the stage and the crowd went wild. As a result, 31 out of 3,000 participants have won the ultimate, first prize of the “Nagoya tour with Rena Matsui,” and also, the management team has prepared consolation game for the prize to go see the kenkyusei (trainees) performances at SKE48 theatre with Rena, which is the last part of the Nagoya tour.
On the bus tour for the 31 first prize winners, Rena Matsui surprised them by wearing tour guide outfit, which started with a nice surprise for the winners. The tour went around the famous power spot, Atsuta Jingu to pray for Rena’s future success, and had Hitsumabushi (Nagoya’s famous meal of chopped cooked eel on rice) lunch together, which became a nice communication environment with the fans.
The very last of the tour was to go see kenkyusei’s stage at SKE48 Theatre, with the rest of the participants won from the consolation game, with the total of 194 fans. After the show, as a last surprise, Rena Matsui appeared on the stage to perform her solo song included in the SKE48’s latest single, “2588 Days.” Lastly, she comments to the current SKE48 kenkyusei, “I was watching the stage, and also remembered back when I was also on this stage. I’m now looking forward for the future of the SKE48, and even I graduate, I hope you all will be the center to lead the group to the future.”
Rena Matsui’s graduation concert will be held two-days at Toyoda Stadium. Don’t miss her last two stages as SKE48 member!
