Party Rockets GT Dance on Sidewalks and Train Platforms in the MV for “Nijiiro Jet”!

Party Rockets GT have launched the MV for “Nijiiro Jet” (release date: February 17), their first single since undergoing several member changes and adding GT to their name!

Despite a turbulent history, the most recent coming in the sudden graduation of Akari Fujita in July of 2015 (and her reemergence as a new member of GALETTe several week later) and the addition of 4 new members in October (although ARISA ended up leaving in December due to poor health), Party Rockets GT has kept moving forward. The MV for “Nijiiro Jet” shows the members working hard on their choreography in a dance studio as well as several random public spaces. Leader HARUKA receives the most of the closeups but perhaps that’s her reward for having to dance on the sidewalk as people walk by? HIMEKA probably had it even harder dancing on the platform of Ochanomizu station in Tokyo as people kept coming by to catch the train? Here are some screencaps!

“Nijiiro Jet” will be released in 2 types: A and B. The coupling song for Type-A is “Moso Chu” and for Type-B, the coupling song is “Dream on Dreamers”. Party Rockets GT will be aiming for big things in 2016, their first big challenge coming in their “revenge one-man live” at Shinjuku BLAZE “～Dream on Dreamers～” on April 17th. Having previously failed to have it sell out when they were there in November of 2014, they are determined to fill up the largest venue in their history the second time around!
