The seven-member idol unit palet has released video of a new song made in collaboration with Nagareda Project, a four-person masked rock band signed to the same label.
Shake My Soul, which will be released as the coupling track of their new single Snow Distance on December 10th, is a lively rock tune with lyrics, music, and arrangement by Nagareda Project. The lyrics incorporate the respective colors of the seven members of palet, creating a energetic song that is unlike anything the group has done before.
This is the first song with such a high BPM for the members of palet, who have been going in a pure idol direction in their songs up to now. In the released video, the members dance round and round, not quite having mastered the dance moves. That this is praised as being cute is a strange aspect of Japanese idols.
As for the song itself, it conveys simple excitement following the theory of Japanese Punk Rock, and offers a new nostalgia that will appeal to all generations.

On December 28th, the members of Nagareda Project will make a guest appearance during the Palet show at ReNY in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Also, on January 31st next year, there will be a triple birthday celebration for Yui Fujimoto, Miyuki Hiraguchi, and Saki Takeda at Yakult Hall in Tokyo.
