Otome Shinto want to know if you believe in the existence of mysterious creatures in the MV for their 7th single “Tsuchinoko tte Iru to Omou…?♡” (release date: November 18)!

In the MV the members of Otome Shinto search frantically for a tsuchinoko, a mysterious snake believed to exist in Japan. Several of the scenes take the viewpoint of the tsuchinoko as it evades the outstretched arms of Otome Shinto. Do you think tsuchinoko exist? Do you want to believe? If they do exist, where did they come from? Aliens?

Other mysterious creatures such as the Himalayan Yeti, Canada’s Ogopogo, South American chupacabra, Scottish/Irish Kelpie and Loch Ness Monster (Nessie) are also included in the song. In the video below, Otome Shinto teaches the choreography that goes with “Tsuchinoko tte Iru to Omou…?♡”!

“Tsuchinoko tte Iru to Omou…?♡” will be released in 3 different versions. Limited Type-A includes a DVD with the full-length MV and making of for “Tsuchinoko tte Iru to Omou…?♡”. Limited Type-B includes a DVD with the dance shot MV for “Tsuchinoko tte Iru to Omou…?♡” and a dance instruction video. The coupling song for all 3 versions is titled “Mune ni Hattekou!”. All versions include 1 of 8 randomly selected photos. Those who purchase “Tsuchinoko tte Iru to Omou…?♡” online or in-store at Tower Records Japan or HMV will receive a special A4-sized clear file folder or 1 of 3 randomly selected stickers.

Otome Shinto have already begun promoting the single with in-store events running until the middle of November. Unfortunately, it was announced on October 22nd that Airi Hasegawa will be taking an indefinite break from appearing with the group as she has been suffering from poor health recently. Perhaps if you find a tsuchinoko, it will have the power to restore her health?
