Otome Shinto feast on traditional Japanese sweets in the MV for their 8th single “Ame to Namida to Otome to Taiyaki” (release date: March 2)!
In the MV for “Ame to Namida to Otome to Taiyaki”, the members of Otome Shinto run into each other in the suburbs on their way home from school. Visiting a local taiyaki shop, their faces light up as soon as they wrap their hands around the warm golden brown fish-shaped snacks. Arisa Sonohara might be overdoing things a bit, eating 2 at a time but, it should be okay since she’s the second youngest member and still growing?
Airi Hasegawa, who is currently on hiatus due to health issues, even makes a short cameo at the end of the MV. Fans should be reassured to see her even for just a few moments. “Ame to Namida to Otome to Taiyaki” is the ending theme for the anime “Nurse Witch Komugi-chan” and was composed by Toru Hidaka (THE STARBEMS, ex- BEAT CRUSADERS), arranged by Sho Yamamoto and rionos, with lyrics by Kumiko Takahashi (ex-Chatmonchy).
