This tour began August 5th and consisted of 16 performances in 6 cities, with over 150,000 people being enchanted by Nogizaka 46. The final day began with an opening video, followed by the appearance of the members in the audience area in crosswise aisles that ran along the stage. Appearing last in the middle of the aisle was Rina Ikoma. She entusiastically shouted, “Jingu–! Shall we get started?? Let’s give our best performance ever! Let’s make some great summer memories together!”, and Nogizaka 46 kicked things off with their latest single, “Taiyou Knock”.

In the first half they revealed the gentle “Hane no Kioku”, Mai Shirashi, Nanami Hashimoto, Kazumi Takayama, and Mai Fukagawa’s “Sakanatachi no LOVE SONG”, and “Muhyoujou” which featured Erika Ikuta and Sayuri Matsumura (who make up the “Karaage Shimai”), all of which are coupling songs for “Taiyou Knock”. Inspired by their vision to show the potential of Nogizaka 46, the “undermembers” (members who were not usually selected for singles) made their entrance. Their songs, which were bursting with energy and freshness, included “Kimi wa Boku to Awanai hou ga yokatta no kana” and “Senpuuki”, which they went on to sing at the top of their voices. A surprise announcement of a solo “undermembers” 2-day concert onDecember 17th and 18th at the revered Nippon Budokan was welcomed by loud cheers from the fans.

The middle of the concert featured the members wearing uniforms from the softball team “Hatsumori Bemars” and “Polaris Gakuen” uniforms from their TV drama Hatsumori Bemars. They reenacted the tense game between Hatsumori Bemars and Polaris Gakuen while singing songs such as “Tsuki no Ookisa” and “Yubi Bouenkyo”. The segment came to an end with Nishino performing a solo of “Mou Sukoshi no Yume”. As if cheering on the other members in uniforms, she sang a ballad filled with determination at the top of her voice. Next, during their song “Inochi wa Utsukushii”, they sent out bursts of flames. The following song “Sekai de Ichiban Kodoku na Lover”, was accompanied by colorful lasers flying throughout the venue, creating a dynamic performance that awed the audience.

The second half had Sakurai, Nishino, Takamoto, Shiraishi talking individually about what it means to be a part of Nogizaka. Next, they had a video recording of each member choosing and listing their favorite Nogizaka 46 song’s lyrics. And with that, Ikuta showed up on stage, took a single bow, and headed towards the grand piano. She starts playing and singing “Nanndome no Aozora ka?”, with Nogizaka 46 members adding strings harmonies in the background, creating a beautiful harmony that resounded throughout the venue. The next song, “Kimo no Na wa Kibou”, had a spreading, magnificent sound brought on by its’ orchestra. For the song “Kanashimi no Wasurekata”, over 460 rounds of fireworks were released into the night sky, ending this section of the performance with an emotional mood. When the three songs ended, Ikuta spoke from the heart, “This corner is about conveying what it means to be part of Nogizaka 46, and I was worried if I could complete it, but behind us we have our supportive staff, and when we came to the stage everyone was supporting us, and all the members are here, too. I thought, ‘I’m not alone’, and because everyone is here, we can create what Nogizaka 46 is. I’m so happy. We could make really wonderful summer memories”

During encore, the girls revealed their new song “Ima, hanashitai dareka ga iru”. (release date: October 28th). Selected to be the theme song for the anime film Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunnda, it was a refreshing song with Nishino and Shiraishi sharing the spotlight as double-centers. Finally, “Nogizaka no Uta”. The lasers and the fan’s cyalumes filled the venue with a purple glow, and the show had met its climax. The persistent encore calls prompted Nogizaka 46 to return once again for a double encore. After a performance of “Romance no Start”, Sakurai could not hide her surprise at the second encore, saying “This is the first time this has happened, I am so surprised!”. She shouted to the fans, “We will become a group that will leave you with no regrets. We will become a group that loses to no one else. So please keep continuing to love us! This was a great concert!” and with that, the Midsummer 2015 Japan tour came to an end.
