AKB48’s new Team4 performed at AKB theater for the first time!

On November 3rd, AKB48‘s Team 4, which was reassembled in August, performed their first performance “Te o Tsunaginagara” on the AKB48 stage in Akihabara.

The new Team4 is formed by the promotion of 16 kenkyusei (AKB48’s trainee) including Minegishi Minami and Kojima Mako. The members, an average age is of 16, sang and danced youthfully.

Team captain Minegishi, who is the eldest team member, made a statement, “Although I am dressed youthfully, I have fought many things to get back to standing on this stage. I’m afraid little bit, but I think that I have the most earnest intention in AKB to the theater performance.”
Team 4’s first original song “Seijun Philosophy” was also showcased for the first time in front of 250 fans. That was the time AKB48’s new history began.
