In this 3rd season,  new guardians such as Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, and Sailor Saturn, who guard the outer rime of the Solar System will appear.

The new dramatic opening track “New Moon ni Koi Shite” (means: In love with the New Moon) is written by Etsuko Yakushimaru, who has worked for various anime songs such as “Arakawa Under The Bridge” or “Mawaru Penguindrum”. She has provided the idol group Momoiro Clover Z with some tracks such as “Otome Sensou” or “HAPPY Re:BIRTHDAY”, so this is another collaboration with the group.

Another interesting gimmick for this anime series is that various singers including Momoiro Clover Z perform this track every one month of the anime broadcast. In April, Etsuko Yakushimaru version was revealed with the anime premiere. In May, the Queen of Anime Song, Mitsuko Horie’s version was on air. And in this June, finally Momoiro Clover Z sings this track with a different arrangement.
