Momoiro Clover Z to Hold Their First Countdown Live Concert in the End of 2015!

In the evening of November 26th 2015, the performers list of 66th NHK Kouhaku Utagassen 2015 were officially announced. Unfortunately, the name of “Momoiro Clover Z” was not in the list this year. Reflecting this shocking news, Momoiro Clover Z announced that they will hold their first countdown concert on the day in Tokyo this year!!!
Performance at NHK Kouhaku Utagassen is always the dream of them since the group’s establishment, and it came true at the year end of 2012. They had continued the enormous leap, and succeeded in the performance there in 3 consecutive years: 2012, 2013 and 2014: They have another dream to stand the stage of Kouhaku with Akari Hayami, an actress sharing the dream of Kouhaku as a former member of Momoiro Clover. In 2015, they released their first original film “The curtain rises” and living theater of the movie. They collaborated with the American Rock Legend KISS, and the live performance at Anime Expo 2015 in Los Angeles excited 4,351 anime fans. However, these achievements could not be still enough for NHK this year.
Just after the official announcement by NHK that they cannot appear on the stage of NHK Kouhaku Utagassen this year, Momoiro Clover Z declared “Graduation from NHK Kouhaku Utagassen”, with the announcement of Countdown concert on their official website. Of course this rapid counter-like OFFICIAL announcement polarized opinion, but all the members of Momoiro Clover Z poured their feeling out in their blog. Members say that of course they felt the chagrin, but now they must put themselves into another mode; they go their own way with their fans.
This electoral defeat could ignite the fans of the group again. After the performance at the National Stadium in the spring of 2014, Momoiro Clover Z set their goal to be the top who makes everyone smile. It is an endless road. But now the members and the fans of the group got another short-term destination again. 3 days Momoiro Christmas at gelande and other TV programs remained yet, but Momoiro Clover Z in 2016 is the idol group to watch!
