Momoiro Christmas season is coming this year too, and Momoiro Clover Z announced that they will release Christmas limited single also in this year, named “HIP HOP SELECTION 7inch VINYL – LIMITED EDITION”. It’s HIP HOP!!!
In this winter, Momoiro Clover Z is going to hold their Christmas Live “Momoiro Christmas 2015 Beautiful Survivors” in gelande on 23rd, 24th and 25th December 2015. Every year at venue of “Momoiro Christmas”, they have released Christmas limited single which packs so pretty songs, like a ballad or a Christmas song.
But this year, it is different. The title of the single is “HIP HOP SELECTION 7inch VINYL – LIMITED EDITION”. Two tracks will be packed in the single: “5 The POWER” and “Mokkuro ni naru Hate”. “5 The POWER” is a HIP HOP track from their second album “5th dimension” written by MURO and SUI, famous Japanese HIP HOP producers, and lyric is written by Seikou Itou. Another track “Mokkuro ni naru Hate” is also a HIP HOP track, songwritten by MURO and SUI, and lyric is written by MURO and BOO. This track is a precedent track from their new 4th album “Hakkin no Yoake”. They have challenged HIP HOP tracks such as “5 The POWER” or “Doudou Heiwa Sengen”, but this is another challenge for them.
One more interesting point is that, they will release the single in the form of 7inch vinyl at the venue. They will release the single in the form of 7INCH VINYL on GELANDE. It seems so crazy! Everyone wants to try the tracks as soon as possible, but who has the environment for 7inch vinyl in such a digital age, and on gelande? I think it is a challenge from Momoiro Clover Z. They say “If you want to feel the new albums’ world, challenge it!”
With the release of the Christmas Limited Single, they will also release a new track “Koyoi Live no Motode” via iTunes and Rekochoku. This track is written by michitomo, and lyrics is written by Natsumi Tadano, a promised combination.
