lyrical school blow up the spot with superior firepower in the MV for “Summer Foundation” (release date: July 6)!

Filmed on the evening of July 2nd, the members of lyrical school perform with some of the most impressive pyrotechnics available in Japan, the fireworks display of the Aioi Peron Dragon Boat Festival in Hyogo prefecture! Coordinating their movements precisely with the timing of the spectacular explosions, it almost looks like they’re controlling the fireworks! While their outfits might remind some of old school prisoner uniforms, black and white stripes (known in Japan as “border print”) are one of the mainstays of summer fashion in Japan. Hopefully it’s not the last time that “heads” (lyrical school fans) will see yumi this summer even though she announced via Twitter that she will be taking a break from the group as of July 5th.

“Summer Foundation” has been released in 3 versions. Type-A includes a DVD with 5 songs from their Shinjuku BLAZE (March 6, 2016) concert: “RUN and RUN”, “S.T.A.G.E”, “Photograph”, “Maybe Love”, and “tengal6”. Type-B includes bonus tracks “RUN and RUN-(Illreme remix)” and “lyrisku no Uta (Dorian remix)”. The coupling song for all versions it titled “Kiss Me”.
