While many fans are still shocked about the period of μ’s activity, LoveLive! Sunshine project is gradually getting ready for the fundamental beginning of the project and the anime starting this summer. In the past few days, the project’s leading idol group “Aqours” has made several decisions, including the release of their 2nd single “Koi Ni Naritai AQUARIUM” (on sale April 27th), which reflects the first election of the center position for this new single. The queen of the first election is You Watanabe.

As you can imagine from their group name, Aqours is a unit that has a strong relationship with water, and this time, the theme is Aquarium. The members appear in a staff uniform of an aquarium and change into a dress full with frills that reminds one of fishes’ tails. On top of You’s head, the crown shines to praise her for being the champion of the center position.

This video was first shown to the fans inside Aqours’ regular niconico broadcast program “Nico-nama Outside School Activity ~We Are Trio, Ichi, Ni, Sunshine~” on April 9th. To warm up the project and celebrate the release of the 2nd single with the fans, Aqours members are going around Japan to have a special event called “Minnna Ni Aitai AQUARIUM ~FANTASTIC SUNSHINE~” during June.
