Kii Kitano’s “Rasberry Jam” Music Video Released Today!!

The music video for “Raspberry Jam”, the second single in the Kii Kitano Collaboration Trilogy due out on June 26th, will be released today. The lyrics and composition is by Taishi of Aqua Timez, and the song was produced by the rest of the band.
The artist Kitano herself was involved in the production of the music video. The video expresses the theme of the song, “a kind, strong, and warm picture book,” and splits the realistic and dreamy parts of the lyrics into two worlds.
Kitano plays two roles in the video for the “realistic world” and the “dreamy world”. One is an unappealing girl with two braids, and the other a naive, fairly-like girl. Kitano was heavily involved in every detail of the two characters, from their personality settings and fashion styles, to how they wear their hair.
“We discussed in-depth about what their hair colors should be and how much makeup they should wear before we made our decisions. It was easy to get into character once I actually tried, and I had a lot of fun,” commented Kitano.
