FYT Teaches Their Students a Hilariously Incorrect Lesson on American School Life in the MV for “School orz”!

Schoolteacher-themed idol group FYT (pronounced “fight”, short for Funky Yankee Teachers) have released the MV for “School orz” which is the lead track of their 1st mini-album of the same name (release date: March 25).
Although it didn’t make it to YouTube until the day after “School orz” went on sale, the video was available for viewing on their Facebook page since March 21st. In the song, FYT talks about the differences between school life in Japan and the US using some exaggerated examples like television shows “Beverly Hills 90210” and “Gossip Girl”. In the middle of the video, some English subtitles appear but why didn’t they do them all the way through? If FYT does things the way they had with the MV for “Gakuen Jigoku”, the second half of the “School orz” should appear online very soon! “orz” or “OTL” is a popular emoji used in Japan to express apology or extreme despair because it looks like a person bowing with their head on the floor. Perhaps that is why FYT is painting such a ridiculous picture of school life in America?
“School orz” has been released in 2 different versions but the only difference is the cover art. Including FYT’s debut single “Gakuen Jigoku”, it’s coupling song “Sekai no Hajimari” (Type-C), and “School orz” there are 8 songs on the mini album.
