callme, sub-unit from Dorothy Little Happy, had their first public performance in front of a sold out audience at @JAM the field vol. 7 at TSUTAYA O-EAST on February 1st.

The trio of KOUMI, MIMORI, and RUUNA took the stage in Mondrian-influenced one-piece dresses, tights with bold stripes and bob hairstyles, showing fans a side to them never before seen in Dorothy Little Happy. Wanting to show of their more mature side as their high school graduation approaches, callme was formed as a “self-produced” unit. KOUMI is in charge of the song lyrics and choreography, MIMORI handles writing the music and lyrics, and RUUNA is the leader (and also writes lyrics).

callme announced that they would be releasing their first single “To shine” on March 4th and be having a solo concert at the same TSUTAYA O-EAST on April 18th. In addition to “To shine” which they performed for the first time at @JAM the field vol. 7, the single will include “Once again” as a coupling song on all versions and the CD-only version (Type-B) will include a third track “Falling for you”. There are also special versions of the single available only at mu-mo or at callme events. The contents of the CDs are the same for all three versions but there is a version for each of the members. Check out callme’s official site to hear a short clip of “To shine” and see the cover art for the special versions of the single.
