Dorothy Little Happy is about to get smaller! Ruuna Akimoto, Mimori Tominaga, and Koumi Hayasaka announced that they will be graduating from the group at the July 12 finale for their “Dorothy Little Happy Live Tour 2015 5th Anniversary ～just move on ～” at Nakano Sun Plaza. The three will remain active as callme, the “self-produced” group that made their stage debut in February. Dorothy Little Happy will continue with Mari Takahashi and Kana Shirato.

Takahashi and Shirato expressed regret and shock to the news but, asked fans to continue supporting them as well as the members of callme. Akimoto, Tominaga, and Hayasaka cited a change in their goals as the motivation behind their decision. They apologized for the suddenness of it but asked fans to look forward to Dorothy Little Happy’s final tour as a quintet and to support both groups.
Dorothy Little Happy will be releasing their final single with 5 members “Tell me tell me!!” on May 20th and have released their best of album “The best of Dorothy Little Happy 2010-2015” on April 1st. With the announcement of yet another major graduation, 2015 seems like it might be the most unpredictable year since the idol scene exploded 10 years ago. If you’re a fan of Dorothy Little Happy and you haven’t seen them live, or it has been a while, it’s now or never! It may seem like they will be “STARTING OVER” but remember that “Life goes on” and if you “just move on” and “keep on tryin'”, “HAPPY DAYS!” will come again.
