℃-ute Unveil MV for What Might Be Their Magnum Opus in “Mugen Climax”!

Even after more than a decade at the top of the idol world, ℃-ute manage to outdo themselves once again, this time with the symphonic and picturesque MV for “Mugen Climax” from their triple A-side 30th single “Mugen Climax/Ai wa Marude Seidenki/Singing～Ano Koro no Youni〜” (release date: November 2)!
℃-ute slip through time as they appear in military inspired outfits highlighted by epaulettes and corsets as they perform in a luxurious European-style room with glittering chandeliers shining all around them. Some of you might recognize elements of Beethoven’s piano sonata No 14- presto agitato mixed in with the pulsing electronic dance beats. Even they use the characters 夢幻 (dreamlike), it would have probably also fit if they had used 無限 (infinite) to write “mugen”? Music and lyrics are by Seiko Omori and arrangement is by Kaoru Okubo.
“Mugen Climax/Ai wa Marude Seidenki/Singing～Ano Koro no Youni〜” will be released in 3 limited edition CD/DVD versions and 3 regular CD versions. The limited editions include serial numbers for events to meet ℃-ute and the regular versions include 1 of 6 (5 solo and 1 group) randomly selected trading cards each featuring different outfits: Type-A – “Mugen Climax”, Type-B – “Ai wa Marude Seidenki”, and Type-C – “Singing～Ano Koro no Youni〜”.
