Hime Kyun Fruit Can and Barysan are back together as Barykyun to represent their home of Ehime in the MV for “Ano Sakamichi wo Kakeagare!” (release date: December 2)!
Going around to many famous places in Ehime prefecture, Barysan and Hime Kyun Fruit Can join the locals to swing towels (which were most likely made in Imabari, which produces more than half of the towels in Japan and even has a towel museum). The evil man who kidnaps Barysan in the MV for their previous song “Koi no BRKN” even makes an appearance but doesn’t try anything this time.
“Ano Sakamichi wo Kakeagare!” will be sold in a limited edition CD/DVD version and a regular CD-only version. The coupling song for both versions is titled “Boki to Kimi wo Tsunagu Sora”, which is a collaboration with the manga COLORS! which is serialized in the popular elementary school girls’ manga magazine Ciao. The limited edition exclusive song is titled “Kira Kira Shita Ashita he” and the regular edition exclusive song is “Mofu Mofu ga Futtekita”. Details on the DVD contents have yet to be announced.
Ehime might not be one of the first places you would think of going to when it comes to Japan but, thanks to Hime Kyun Fruit Can and Barysan, perhaps your interest has been piqued a little? If so, they have done their job as local idols and yurukyara!
