Bandjanaimon! have released a MV for a new version of their song “Chocolat Love”. It is one of the songs for their first full album “Re:start” (release date: April 22).

As this is the “Umare Kawari” (If I were to be reborn) version, the MV has the members of Bandjanaimon! acting out the kinds of things they would do if they weren’t idols, more specifically, taking the viewer on an imaginary date. Between going to the zoo with Misako Suzuhime, having a picnic with Ringo Koishio, Miyu Mochizuki cooking for you, watching rented DVDs and drinking beers with Momoko Takeuchi, eating at Burger King with Gumi Nanase, or walking around the town with Yuzu Amanatsu, which would you choose?

The video ends with the the sound of an alarm clock with the viewer waking up to a room full of Bandjanaimon! goods, resorting to the “it was all a dream” trope.

Here is the original MV for “Chocolat Love” which was released back in 2013 when they had two drummers. As you can see, the video was a lot closer to representing the theme of the song with lots of chocolate and glasses (the lyrics mention “megane”, Japanese for glasses, quite often) in it. It’s a silly, messy, unusual MV with a bunch of fan service in it.

“Re:start” will be released in a limited edition version with a DVD and a regular CD-only version. The DVD has 9 songs from their February 7, 2015 performance at Shinjuku BLAZE. There is also a special limited poster which will be included with the purchase of the CD at 9 Tower Records shops across Japan: Sapporo Pivot, Sendai Parco, Shinjuku Flags, Yokohama Vivre, Nagoya Parco, Umeda NU Chayamachi (Osaka), Kobe, Hiroshima, and Fukuoka Parco. If you are in Japan but nowhere near any of those Tower Records locations, there is a limited postcard that will come with the CD and a sticker for those who go to HMV.
