Bandjanaimon! Sync Up With Legendary Songwriter HISASHI for New Album!

Bandjanaimon! will be getting a monster boost to their “PERFECT YEAR 2017” as Japanese rock legend HISASHI (GLAY) has been revealed as yet another of the contributors for their upcoming album “Kanpeki Shugi no Sekai ni Fukanzen na Ongaku wo” (release date: March 8)!

HISASHI, who’s involvement was revealed on February 2nd, his 45th birthday, has composed and arranged a song titled “Kimi wa Hero” which he hopes will capture the energy and individuality of Bandjanaimon! While this will be his first time producing an idol song, he has composed more than 20 songs for GLAY during their almost 30 year history, contributing to their multi-million selling status as one of Japan’s legendary rock bands and has played guitar on tracks by artists such as Hikaru Utada, BiS, and Eir Aoi.

“Kanpeki Shugi no Sekai ni Fukanzen na Ongaku wo” will be released in a limited edition with a Blu-ray featuring all the MVs from their single’s released since their re-debut and a regular “low-cost” version. Both versions will include 15 songs. Release events for “Kanpeki Shugi no Sekai ni Fukanzen na Ongaku wo” begin on Februrary 11th and will run until March 11th. From February 13th until February 17th, Bandjanaimon! will be holding performances 5 days in a row at Shibuya o-nest for their “PERFECT WEEK” as well as solo concerts in Osaka (Shinsaibashi BIG CAT) on April 29th and Tokyo (Shin-Kiba Studio Coast) on May 14th in support of the album’s release.
