Atsuko Maeda Makes Her First Appearance in COUNTDOWN JAPAN 2013! 12,000 Audiences Get Excited!

The largest scale Countdown Event [COUNTDOWN JAPAN 13/14] was started in Chiba Makuhari Messe from December 28. At the first day, Atsuko Maeda appeared on the stage as the first artist to show performance. It marked her very first time to make appearance at the stage of Rock Festival.
She shouted “Se~no! (Here we go!)” and kicked off the great event of years’ end. She showed off songs of her own such as “Kimi wa Boku da” and “Time Machine nante Iranai.” 12,000 people who gathered at the venue got excited to see her first performance in Rock Festival.
During the MC after she sang 4th song “Flower”, she talked, “To tell the truth, I came to this countdown festival last year as one of the audience. I saw the countdown performance of Qururi-san with my friend on the previous new year’s eve. So, I was very surprised when I heard that I will perform here. I’m really happy to stand on this stage this year!”
At the end of her performance, she performed her brand new song “Seventh Code.” There was a happening that she slipped and fell on her keister when she was going to end up the song with cool action. However, she wrapped up her performance with delight comment, “It was so fun! Thank you so much! Hope you enjoy also next year!”
Now, it should be noted that this event is being held up to the 31st.
