Girls’ magazine “anan” Features E-girls, Morning Musume.’14, and total of 54 Groups

Girls’ magazine “anan“, that was first launched in 1970, is going to feature girl idols titled “Secret Idol Research!” over 62 pages in the 1891th issue to be published on January 29.

The idol appears on the cover is Kanna Hashimoto, who is introduced as “the idol in a millennium”, belonging to the Fukuoka Prefecture based idol group “Rev. from DVL”.

In this issue, idols are featured with titles such as “Morning Musume.’14 is that great!”, “Singing, Dancing, Acting, get to the core of the E-girls’ popularity among girls”. The interview with Mariko Shinoda about the graduation from AKB48 also will be posted. In addition, 9nine, Nogizaka46, ºC-ute, BABYMETAL, and Tokyo Girls’ Style are going to be introduced as the best 5 idol groups that girls like.

Chief editor of anan, Kuniko Nose spoke about women idol research by women, “Women might have the feeling of “Idol wanna be” naturally. A sense of bringing up idols might satisfy the maternal instinct. I love the deceptive simplicity of researching women idols.”
