AKB48 Announces ‘Request Hour Set List Best 200 2014’

AKB48 has revealed the dates for their live event ‘AKB48 Request Hour Set List Best 200 2014‘.
It was announced during their handshake event “KING RECORDS presents Zenkoku Akushukai Event AKB48 Matsuri powered by Nemousu TV” held at Nagoya Dome on October 27th.
AKB48’s ‘Request Hour’ has been held every January since 2008. Fans vote for their favorite songs from AKB48 and their sister groups (SKE48, SDN48, NMB48, HKT48), and the girls perform 25 songs in a countdown style every day for 4 days. In the past years, the girls have performed 100 songs, but this year it has been increased to 200!
Songs 101 to 200 will be announced over a period of 4 days from January 23rd to the 26th at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL. Meanwhile, songs 1 to 100 will be announced on April 6th at Saitama Super Arena.
Voting period will be from December 10th to the 27th.
Reagarding this announcement, Yuko Oshima commented “Up to 100 song had been voted in the past years, but the next time, the number will increase to 200. So, we might possibly perform your favorite song that had not been ranked until now! Furthermore, songs 1 to 100 will be announced at a stroke on the stage of Saitama Super Arena. It will be spectacular and worth seeing! Please come to see us, thanks.
