AKB48’s New Kami Seven Makes First Appearance on TV Commercial for Baitoru!

The new commercial for the largest classified temporary and part time job website in Japan, “Baitoru,” entitled “live concert announcement,” will be aired nationwide starting on Monday, June 22nd.

This commercial featured those selected for the new “Kami 7,”during the vote counting event on Saturday, June 6th for the “AKB48 41st Single Election,” including, Rino Sashihara (HKT48／1st place), Yuki Kashiwagi (AKB48/2nd place), Mayu Watanabe (AKB48/3rd place), Minami Takahashi (AKB48/4th place), Jurina Matsui (SKE48/5th place), Sayaka Yamamoto (NMB48/6th place), and Sakura Miyawaki (HKT48/7th place). This will be the first commercial for the new “Kami7” members to appear together.

The music for this commercial is “Boku Tachi wa Tatakawanai” by AKB48. Furthermore, in order to maximize the appeal of the “New Kami7,” the commercial was shot by one of the prominent Asian photographers, Leslie Kee.

In the “live concert announcement” version, the announcement, about the invitation of 8,100 guests to the “Baitoru AKB48 Special Live” on the “Day of Baitoru” on August 10th, is made by the seven members wearing mouse ears and tails, in reference to the “Baitoru” mascot, “Chuichi.” The commercial is made to convey the excitement and elation of the event by incorporating the scenes from last year’s concert.
