Dream Collaboration of Disney x Broadway x AKB48! Haruka Shimazaki perfoms in the show “blast! the music of Disney”

On August 15, Haruka Shimazaki, former member of AKB48, appeared on the show “blast! the music of Disney”, performing the alto saxophone which she used to play when she was in middle school. This was the first stage of “blast” to be performed in Tokyo this year. As soon as she appeared on stage, the venue was filled with cheers and she answered to the audience with a big smile.
The unique collaboration between Broadway production “blast!” and Disney music arrived in Japan for the first time last year in 2016. This year, the show will stop in 47 prefectures in Japan, starting with Yamagata on July 9 until Okinawa on October 1.
Haruka commented, “I still have more stages to go, and I’ll think about what I can do as an official supporter”.
