AKB48 Celebrates Halloween Night with Samantha Thavasa’s Gorgeous Girls!

On October 30, 2015, 6 members of AKB48 surprised staff of Samantha Thavasa group by making a guest appearance at the company’s Halloween event, “Samantha Thavasa Presents HalloWeen Night”, held at the Hilton Tokyo. The members performed their recent single “Halloween Night”, which is also part of the Best-of album “Zero to Ichi no Aida” that comes out on November 18, 2015.

The relationship between AKB48 and Samantha Thavasa Group started in 2013, when the company uploaded “Koi Suru Fortune Cookie Samantha Thavasa Group STAFF Ver”, which received more than 6.7 million views and was one of the top 5 most viewed videos on YouTube in 2013. They also received the most viewed video award during “AKB48 Group Tokyo Dome Concert 2014.”

They followed up with “Kokoro no Placard Samantha Thavasa Group STAFF Ver” in 2014, and “Halloween Night Samantha Thavasa Group STAFF Ver” was uploaded to AKB48’s Official YouTube Channel in August 2015.

On October 30, 2015, 500 staff members had the best Halloween Night ever, when they were finally able to dance with members of AKB48 and make this dreamy collaboration come true.

We were a bit surprised at first because we were surrounded by women in costumes, but everyone welcomed us and they were having a blast, so in the end we had a really great time too. It would be great if we can be in their commercials again! We love Samantha!
